Karmafy is happy to announce that 10,000 players of games with Karmafy have chosen to support Water.org with their Karmafy points! Through it’s WaterCredit initiative and effective work for safe water and sanitation around the globe, Water.org has been an inspirational partner for Karmafy and our players. For just $25 they give someone access to clean safe water and sanitation for life. Through Karmafy points, players who support Water.org get immediate feedback on the good done while playing the game. So far, supporters of Water.org have played 150,000 games and earned 1.6 million Karmafy points for Water.org resulting in 25,000 days of safe clean water to someone in need.
Karmafy is also happy to see that players who choose to support Water.org are more engaged users, playing more than 50% more sessions than users who support other causes or no cause at all. Although this is not a proof of that the Karmafy model works, it is still inspiring for us to see. As for proof that the Karmafy model works, we have been able to prove this in an A/B test in Slam Dunk Basketball 2. We were able to show that players who experienced Karmafy played more, shared a lot more to social media and made more purchases.
Karmafy is now looking at some top tier games to add to the Karmafy platform and to grow the user base and support for our good causes. The next goal for Karmafy and Water.org is 100.000 players supporting Water.org in games with Karmafy. Let’s get this done!
